Thor

I've been waiting for this!!!! And I've consistently said that if the movie was as good as the trailers, I'd be happy. And it thoroughly lived up to my expectations!

It was a little Star Wars-y at times, which I loved. Kenneth Branagh did a great job comingling the two different realms (Asgard and Earth) and I loved the way the story played out.

The little tidbits they threw out there to remind you that this was all part of a great big project were well-placed. I really loved Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson in the Iron Man movies and I enjoyed him here, too. Chris Hemsworth was a fantastic casting choice. The man is beautiful. And he brought a playfulness to the character of Thor that I absolutely loved.

I've yet to see Natalie Portman play a character that I didn't like. (Your Highness is now playing at the cheap theater, so that is subject to change. But as of right now, I stand by it.)

Great movie! Can't wait to see how Thor integrates with Tony Stark and Iron Man.
