It was raining today, so I decided to see this even though I wasn't really planning on it.
I saw it in 2D, but this was a movie where I think I might have enjoyed the 3D. (Still holding out for Star Wars next year!) There were scenes where I actually thought to myself, "I'll bet that was cool in 3D".
This is a beautifully executed animation and the storyline was fun. The scenery stole the show, though. The opening scene is a musical number and at one point the birds are arranged in a kaleidoscope fashion and it was very cool to look at.
I guess I'm (almost) glad that it rained.
