An Officer and a Gentlemen

Released on August 13, 1982: Every now and then I like to throw an older movie into the mix and a trip to Family Video prompted me to rent this.

I'm under the impression that this is a movie that a lot of people love and I really don't understand why. I thought it was kind of boring.
