Bridesmaids

Released on May 13, 2011: I had my choice of three movies today... I picked the wrong one. Everyone thought this movie was SO funny and I thought it was bland and dumb.

Last year, I was insanely disappointed in The Town. Looks like Bridesmaids wins that award this year. Blah. I was looking forward to lots of laughs and it simply did not deliver.

And as much as I was thrilled to see Jon Hamm (since I have to wait until next year for Mad Men to return to my DVR) I'm worried that he kills movies for me. He was, after all, an important character in The Town as well. Hmmm. No. I refuse to blame this on him. It's just a coincidence and he's still perfect.
